Conduit Gate
This valve is an enhanced version of the slab gate valve, featuring a two-piece gate with sloped internal faces. These slopes cause the gate to expand in both fully open and fully closed positions, ensuring a tight mechanical seal. The gate segments are linked to move together, but they remain disengaged during operation to minimize friction and wear. The through conduit design provides a full-bore opening, reducing pressure drop and flow turbulence. Desuperheater
