PCV’s spray nozzle-type desuperheaters are engineered with multiple nozzles to ensure optimal performance and exceptional rangeability. These specialized nozzles deliver fine water atomization, even at minimal flow conditions, while remaining unobstructed by the throttling piston.
For precise steam temperature control under challenging conditions such as low steam velocity or minimal water-steam differential pressure.
PCV recommends using a combination of spray nozzles in varying sizes to maintain effectiveness.
The split-body design simplifies maintenance by allowing flexible orientation of the water connection relative to the spray nozzles and enabling easy replacement of the seat.

The control system includes the PCV diaphragm actuator, positioner, solenoid valves, and any additional components required to meet the customer’s control specifications.
All positioners—whether Foundation Fieldbus (FF) or HART—are sourced from leading global manufacturers such as ABB, FISHER, EMERSON, Siemens, SMC, and Norgren.
Other accessories are provided by top-quality brands, either from trusted Korean suppliers or other reputable international manufacturers, ensuring reliability and performance in every application.
To prevent obstruction and ensure long-term reliability, all PCV desuperheaters are typically equipped with a filter installed on the water-side connection. This safeguard helps maintain consistent performance by protecting the spray nozzles from particulate contamination.
